EAP 061 English Grammar Review
Review parts of speech, sentence elements, and patterns. Develop writing fluency.
EAP 062 Sentence and Punctuation Skills
Compose and combine clauses that generate clear, effective, and correct sentences. Improve punctuation use.
EAP 063 Composing Skills
Choose a topic and organize short pieces of writing. Learn revision and editing strategies.
EAP 064 Revision and Proofreading Skills
Apply revising and editing skills to produce correctly written prose. Correct typical grammar, mechanical, and usage errors.
EAP 065 Writing for Research
Develop research skills for academic essays. Practice writing and integrating quotations, summaries, and paraphrasing.
Note: These courses do not fulfill degree requirements but will help you get a good grasp on the English language.

EAP 096: Writing 3 – Visual Composition/Art Focus
Taught by Perrin Blackman
Students in this section will have the opportunity to focus on artistic expression to explore basic compositional structures in grammar and academic writing. The course will utilize graphic organizers, images of famous artwork, and personal collage journaling to enhance student understanding, organizational skills, and creativity. Course objectives and competencies will be the same as other EAP Writing & Grammar Level III courses.

EAP 087: Speaking 4 – Service Learning
Taught by Holly Milkowart
There are two in-person sections
Students in this section will have the opportunity to participate in a Service-Learning project with the central focus being language and communication enhancement. Students will work in a community and have critical reflection of that work through the processes of action, communication, practice, commitment, and narration. Course objectives and competencies in this section will be the same as for other EAP Speaking & Listening Level IV courses.
